Check The Price

We all know Canon has been around for many years, competing and developing innovative products in this digital era. For over the years, Canon is one of the top manufacturers of consumer imaging products that includes scanners, printers, binoculars, compact digital cameras, film SLR and digital SLR cameras, lenses and video camcorders.

With their numerous outstanding products out in the market, Canon has made it to be realized by consumers that they can keep up with the demands of rapid changing of technology. Like any other company, the people at Canon understand the needs of every consumer. Sure, they offer lots of high-end products but they also make affordable ones with minimal compromise to quality and as the saying goes, you always get what you pay for.

Here comes the Canon PowerShot S110, a budget-friendly compact digital camera that is geared to consumers that wants a decent quality camera at very reasonable price. The S110 features a 12.1 megapixel CMOS sensor with 5x digital zoom on a built-in 24mm wide-angle lens. A built-in flash is also present but concealed inside the camera body until you flick the switch. It can capture 1080p Full HD video and has a dedicated Movie button for quick access. The 3-inch LCD touch screen is sharp enough to preview everything you captured.

For the battery, this digital camera uses the NB-5L 3.7v 1120mah Lithium-Ion battery which Canon claims it can take 200 photos on a single charge. Image stabilization is also present, so whenever you record a video while moving, the shakes can be minimized and you get to enjoy the video playback with minimal shaking.

The Built-in Wi-Fi also allows you to wirelessly transfer your images to social networking sites through the Canon iMAGE Gateway to a PC or upload virtually anywhere on your iOS or Android device, as this can be more convenient compared to a wired setup. The ISO range is up to 12800 to give you a lot of options. Aside from the auto-focus feature, there is a manual mode for more control. The overall weight of the S110 is just 1.05 pounds, you?ll hardly notice it when you put it in your bag.

If you are looking for a decent, high-quality compact camera to take with you on your adventure, then this might be the one for you. You can also consider having this camera if you want to start making videos but don?t want to invest too much on the equipment. Before buying the S110, always take note that this camera is not water-resistant. Also, the battery has a small capacity. For light to medium usage, it most likely will last up to a day, but with heavy usage like video recording, you might want to bring you with a spare battery in case you run out of power.

Summing Up

Overall, this is a good camera. The price is reasonable enough that you get yourself a quality digital camera that can capture great quality photos and videos.
